Citroen Xsara - Video tutorial
Model: Citroen Xsara
MK 1
- Years 1997-2006 Let's see how to disassemble the wheel bearing with all the attached parts on a Citroen Xsara. We place our car on a column bridge, loosen the pins with a telescopic wrench and lift to a comfortable height to intervene. We unscrew the pins and remove the rim, then we begin to unscrew the pins of the brake caliper by detaching it from the support, with a socket wrench we loosen the pin of the caliper. Now remove the caliper support and unscrew the pins on the disc brake, pull the disc towards us with our hands in order to remove it from the wheel hub. We completely disassemble the wheel hub from the arm of the car and extract the worn bearing. We assemble the new bearing with pressing equipment. Before reassembling everything, we remove all the residual dirt from the disassembled pieces with brushes and lubricate the pieces. We mount the brake disc with all the pins attached.

Handbrake adjustment on Ford EcosportFirst remove the plastic profile at the base of the gear lever. To do this, slightly widen the side edges and carefully lift it to release it. There is no need to remove it completely, just move it forward to avoid bother. Now remove the plastic center console around the handbrake by first working from the rear to release it and lifting it until the brake lever passes. Also in this case it is not necessary to remove it completely but, paying attention to the connected cables, it can be stowed in front of the passenger seat. At this point we notice that at the base of the handbrake lever, on the front, we find a nut. By acting on it, with a 10 wrench, we can adjust the brake force, increasing it by turning the nut clockwise, or decreasing it by turning it counterclockwise. Once adjusted, the center console can be repositioned first, pressing lightly to engage it, and then the profile of the gearbox base. by ScegliAuto More videos
