Then we remove the clamp that holds the boot to the lever, and finally we pull it up, using as much force as possible but without overdoing it to avoid breaking it. In the meantime, we will have found the new piece, for example on E-Bay with code 202568923307 at the price of 17.44 euros, with free delivery. We push the new knob along the lever; now lift the boot upwards, and with a new clamp, secure it to the base of the new knob. All that's left is to push the teeth of the frame back into their slots; and the job is done.
