In this video we can see how to remedy the problem of the stiff gear lever on the Citroen Berlingo. The vehicle must be lifted in order to check the underlying linkages of the mechanism. A good spray of WD-40 certainly helps to unlock the levers, but unfortunately does not solve the problem. So we will have to unscrew the junction nut, and check the mechanism to see where the problem occurs. In fact, continuing on we find another very rusty articulation point, on which we spray more WD-40 and move it gently for a few minutes. We reconnect the mechanism and try the functionality of the lever again, which is now okay. But there was another point where we could have operated, and the youtuber shows us: we should have accessed it from the engine compartment, and lubricated the nut that the video enlarges to show us better.
