How to Remove the Airbag from a Citroen C3

Model: Citroen C3 FC, FN - Years 2002-2009

Before proceeding with the removal of the airbag, ensure that the warning light is off and that the horn is functioning correctly; at this point, disconnect the battery and obtain a medium-sized flathead screwdriver; locate the holes just behind the spokes of the steering wheel and insert the screwdriver into the hole while pulling the airbag outward; then press the screwdriver towards the centre to retract the retaining spring; repeat the operation on the other side and complete the removal by disconnecting the connector (first removing the safety clip) and the horn terminals.
