How to replace the battery of the Citroen C4 Picasso

Today we will explain how to replace the battery of the Citroen C4 Picasso model 1 car. Turn off the vehicle and pull the handbrake, lift the hood release lever to open the hood and access the battery. Remove the engine cover using a Phillips screwdriver to unscrew the 4 screws. Then unscrew the flange fixing screws to remove the air filter; using a Phillips screwdriver, unscrew the clamping ring of the air intake duct and pull the negative terminal. Remove the plastic box cover above the battery using a 13mm socket wrench with extension and unscrew the nut holding the electrical sheath of the box so that the battery can be removed. Disconnect the positive terminal clamp and remove the box by pressing on the plastic tab using a flathead screwdriver. Insert the new battery in its place and connect the positive terminal. Screw the nut that secures the battery to connect the negative terminal. Mount the box cover and connect the air duct hose so that the box and air filter can be installed.
