How to open the front hood of the Citroen C1

Model: Citroen C1 MK 1 - Years 2005-2014

Opening the front hood of the Citroen C1 is a simple and quick operation that can be done independently. To open the hood, we need to get inside the vehicle and pull the lever located at the lower left part of the dashboard. After lifting the release lever, the hood will pop up slightly, so we need to position ourselves in front of it to reach in and move the internal lever to the left in order to lift the hood fully. To secure it in the open position, we use the prop rod. To close the hood, we need to remove the prop rod and let the hood fall back down.
