Let’s see in this video how to open the front bonnet on a Citroen C1. Pull the lever located at the bottom left of the dashboard, then lift the bonnet slightly and pull the release lever to the left. Once the bonnet is released, lift it up and secure it with the stay rod. Now that the bonnet is open, you can top up fluids and perform maintenance. To close the bonnet: remove the stay rod and let the bonnet drop down from a minimal height. Ensure it is properly closed.
