How to replace the battery on a Citroen C3? Open the car door and pull up the engine compartment release lever located at the bottom left of the dashboard, then lift the bonnet: disengage the locking lever with your fingers and secure it. Once the engine compartment is open, you will find the battery on the right; remove the battery cover and unscrew the securing pins of the battery terminals, then remove the battery from the engine compartment and replace it with a new one (same voltage). Tighten the battery terminals and close the bonnet after installation.
