How to Change the Diesel Filter on a Citroen C4 Spacetourer

To replace the diesel filter on a Citroen C4 Spacetourer, turn off the engine and open the bonnet. The filter is generally located in the engine bay and can be identified by the fuel pipes connected to its support. Before proceeding, it is advisable to wait for the engine to cool down and work in a clean environment, avoiding dirt entering the circuit. Carefully disconnect the fuel fittings and, if present, the water sensor connector in the fuel. After removing the cover or body of the filter, take out the used filter element and replace the seal as required. Then install the new filter, properly close the housing, and reconnect the pipes and connectors. Finally, prime the circuit using the manual pump, if present, and start the engine, carefully checking for any fuel leaks.
