How to Disable the Start/Stop System in a Citroen Berlingo

To disable the Start/Stop system on a Citroen Berlingo, start the engine and use the central touchscreen display. Open the vehicle functions menu by pressing Vehicle/Driving, then go to the settings or driving functions section. Locate the Stop & Start option and select it to disable the system. A message or indicator may appear on the instrument cluster confirming the function has been disabled. This will prevent the engine from shutting down automatically during stops as per the system's design. The deactivation is generally temporary: after turning off and restarting the vehicle, the Start/Stop will automatically reactivate. To disable it again, you will need to repeat the procedure from the touchscreen.
