Removing the pollen air filter on a Citroen C4? Here’s how to do it from under the windscreen. Lift the bonnet of the engine compartment, remove the plastic scuttle panel. Use a lever to remove the plastic rivets, then detach the cover cloth. Once the cover is removed, you can detach the lid (the air filter is underneath). Remove the worn filter. Insert a new filter into the housing, ensuring it fits snugly against the walls of the box. Refit the filter box cover (secure the cover around the mounting plastics). Check that the pollen filter is correctly fitted in the Citroen C4.
