If when activating the air conditioner you notice a bad smell coming from the ventilation outlets, it is time to replace the filter. The passenger compartment air filter is located in the engine compartment, on the passenger side, immediately under the windscreen, practically behind the diesel filter; start by removing the five fasteners of the plastic cover placed in front of the filter housing; at this point, remove the protective cap and extract the old filter, make sure to eliminate any residual dirt from the inside of the filter seat and insert the new one (we recommend that with activated carbon) orienting it according to the direction of the air flow indicated by the arrows printed on the filter itself.
