Battery Replacement Instructions

Model: Citroen Xsara Picasso MK 1 - Years 1999-2012

The battery is located under the passenger seat: remove the headrest to facilitate tilting the seat, and by pressing the tabs at the back, under the backrest, tilt the seat forward to access the battery compartment. Remove the plastic cover and then the retaining bracket; loosen the terminal clamps (one unscrews and the other disconnects) and extract the old battery. Insert the new one, attach the gas vent tube and the terminals, then secure the bracket and reapply the cover. Start the engine to check the battery's efficiency.
