Changing the Cylinder Head Gasket

The cylinder head gasket is placed between the cylinders and the cylinder head and serves to ensure that the coolant does not come into contact with the oil. The main cause of its wear is overheating. First, drain the engine oil and coolant, remove the air filter, and detach the alternator belt, accessory belt, spark plugs, and their respective leads. During reassembly, pay particular attention to the tightening phase of the cylinder head with the new gasket to the cylinder block. A torque wrench will be needed to tighten the bolts to the correct torque value.
