How to Reset the BSI Unit of the Citroën Xsara Picasso

To reset the BSI unit of the Citroën Xsara Picasso, simply disconnect the car battery for a few minutes. To disconnect it, you will need to loosen the screws that secure the driver's seat at the front and rear: once these screws are loosened, you can lift the seat and the plastic cover underneath, which contains the battery. This should be disconnected for about 3 minutes and then can be reconnected; after reconnecting, you can reassemble the removed parts, ensuring that the unit has been reset.
