How to Replace the Front Stabiliser Links on a Citroen Xsara Picasso

Let’s see how to change the stabiliser links on the Xsara Picasso. To do this job, you will need to lift the car: use a jack and two axle stands to safely keep the car elevated. Remove the front wheels, and with a wire brush, clean the fastening elements of the stabiliser bars, also spraying some WD-40; then unscrew the fastening elements that connect the stabiliser link to the bar and the shock absorber strut. While you’re at it, check the support bushes of the stabiliser and replace them if necessary. Now install the new bar, tightening the mounting elements while greasing them with copper grease. Before remounting the wheel, also grease the surface where the brake disc contacts the wheel rim, then clean the brake with a dedicated cleaner and after a few minutes, remount the wheel. Repeat on the other side.
