How to remove and replace the engine oil filter along with the oil on a Dacia Sandero. Follow this guide to proceed with the replacement: open the car door and pull up the engine compartment release lever located at the bottom left of the dashboard, then lift the bonnet and secure it with the prop rod. Using a socket spanner, unscrew the large securing bolt of the container cap where the oil filter is located.

Remove the worn oil filter, unscrew the drain plug of the oil sump (let the used oil drain into a container) and re-screw it afterwards. Fit a new filter into the container, ensuring it adheres well around the walls.

Finally, reattach the filter cap and top up the engine.
