How to restore the automatic DSG6 transmission

The procedure for resetting the DSG6 automatic gearbox is very simple and does not require the use of external diagnostic devices. The first operation to be carried out is to turn on the instrument panel and wait for the initialization procedure of the control unit to finish. At this point, with the gearbox in neutral, press and hold down the accelerator pedal all the way for about twenty seconds. At the end of the operation, you can start the engine of the car and check the correct completion of the operation. If the automatic gearbox does not reset, the operation can be repeated.
