How to Remove the Oil Filter on a Fiat Grande Punto

Model: Fiat Punto MK 3, Punto EVO, 199, Grandepunto - Years 2005-2018

Remove and install the engine oil filter along with the related fluid on a Fiat Grande Punto. Follow this guide to proceed with the replacement: open the car door and pull up the engine compartment release lever located at the bottom left of the dashboard, then lift the front bonnet and secure it. Using a socket spanner, unscrew the large locking bolt of the container cap where the oil filter is located. Extract the worn oil filter, unscrew the drain bolt of the oil sump (allow the used oil to drain into a container) and then screw it back in. Install a new filter in the container, ensuring it fits snugly against the walls. Finally, refit the oil box cap and top up the engine. Close the front bonnet last.
