How to remove the dashboard of the Fiat 500 L

To disassemble the front dashboard of the Fiat 500 L, we first need to remove the key from the ignition switch and move the steering wheel forward using the lever located underneath. Immediately after, we insert a plastic removal tool into the sides of the dashboard in order to release the clips. By performing gentle but firm movements, we remove the cover. To remove the controls on the central console, we use an electric screwdriver and disconnect the control connector once removed; we follow the same step to unscrew the screws on the radio. We remove the radio and disconnect the connector. We unscrew the screws on the instrument cluster display to extract the cluster itself, then disconnect the connector.
