What to do if we realize that the service battery of our Fiat Ducato camper is not recharging with the engine running? It is definitely a parasitic absorption, but how can we find out? First of all, disconnect it, then cover the solar panel so that it cannot be recharged even from this. Let's go see the fuse box where inside there is the electronic board, and we see that there is a connector that has overheated; by disconnecting it we see that it is partially burnt, and therefore we must replace it, but while waiting for the replacement part to arrive we must close the fins to tighten them, so that the contact surface with the female socket increases. This way we will temporarily solve the problem, waiting to change the connector. Judging by the voltmeters installed by the youtuber, now the service battery is charging with the engine running.
