Battery replacement for Fiat Ducato X250

Let's see how to replace the battery of the Fiat Ducato X250: first of all, we need to know that the battery of this vehicle is not located in the engine compartment, but in the floor under the driver's feet. The youtuber has protected the battery with polystyrene sheets, to insulate it from the cold: a good idea! We must then remove the floor mat, and underneath it we find a plate held by screws, which we must remove to access the compartment where it is stored. We must remove a fixing bracket and then disconnect the negative black terminal, then we must remove the fuses that are connected to the positive red terminal, then we can remove the old battery. We put the new one in its place, (wrapping it in the thin polystyrene sheet that protects it from the cold) and put back the fuses on the positive terminal, then reconnect the positive terminal, then the negative one. It's time to put back the safety bracket, the protective polystyrene sheet, finally the plastic cap that serves as the floor and the floor mat. Operation completed.
