How to Remove the Alternator on a Fiat 500

Learn how to remove the alternator on a Fiat 500 (old model). Pull the lever located at the bottom left of the dashboard and lift the bonnet, securing it (if applicable), locate the battery and disconnect the terminals. Unscrew the bolts with a socket spanner, being careful not to damage the wiring harness, and unscrew all the retaining bolts of the alternator. Once disassembly is complete, extract it from the engine bay (as per the guide). Take the new replacement part and insert it into the appropriate housing, tighten the retaining bolts, then tighten the side bolts of the alternator. Check the correct voltage with a tester by connecting it to the battery.
