Some small tricks to know about vintage Fiat 500s

There are some things about vintage Fiat 500s that we should know. For example: there is a kind of air conditioning vent on these cars. If we remove the ashtray (it is just pressure, you just need to pull it up) a large amount of air passes through that hole, very useful in case of rain; for cool air we can open the sunroof! If our 500 has been sitting for a while, we can do a kind of "mouth to mouth resuscitation" by putting a tissue on the open tank cap and blowing; this way the carburetor will fill up and the car will start more easily. If we want to make sure no one will take our beloved 500, after parking it, we open the hood and take the spark plug brush with us. We are sure it will never start again; but let's remember to put it back when we want to start again!

How to Check the Oil Level on a Jeep Renegade?

To check the oil level on a Jeep Renegade, you need to open the bonnet to access the components inside the engine bay: on the lower left side of the engine block, you will find the dipstick for checking the level. This should be pulled out and thoroughly cleaned with a cloth: once cleaned, reinsert it back into its tube and pull it out immediately after. This way, you can check that the oil mark is between the minimum and maximum levels; finally, you can place the dipstick back in its tube.
