Below we will see the step-by-step instructions on how to perform the routine maintenance service, replacing the engine oil and oil filter, on the Fiat Freemont. First, we lift the vehicle and begin to unscrew the oil drain bolt located on the oil pan, allowing it to drain into a container for about ten minutes; then we use a socket wrench to unscrew the oil filter, replacing the cartridge and the seal, as shown in the video. At this point, we unscrew the filler cap and top up with the new engine oil, filling it up to the maximum level mark indicated on the dipstick.
