Installing the Additional Chip Tuning Control Unit

Model: Fiat Punto MK 3, Punto EVO, 199, Grandepunto - Years 2005-2018

Open the front bonnet and ensure it is securely supported. Locate the connector attached to the rail injector that is under the plastic engine cover (which does not need to be removed), near the oil level dipstick. Disconnect the connector by first removing the safety clip, and connect it to the female connector of the additional control unit wiring; similarly, connect the male connector of the additional control unit wiring to the rail: this essentially creates a bypass. Finally, secure the control unit, avoiding contact with moving parts or areas prone to overheating.
