How to Reset the Oil Change Reminder on a Fiat Panda

After replacing the engine oil and filter on the Fiat Panda, it is important to also reset the service reminder so that the ECU can start counting the mileage until the next service. Once the mechanical work is complete, with the vehicle still in the workshop, park the vehicle on a flat surface, engage the handbrake, and turn off the engine. From the driver's seat, turn on only the ignition: the service message with the spanner icon and the maintenance mileage indication will appear on the dashboard display. At this point, use the diagnostic tool connected to the OBD port located under the steering column. After inserting the tester connector, select the Fiat Panda on the device screen, then the engine module or the service menu. By following the steps, access the oil maintenance reset function and confirm the operation. The tester will then send the command to the ECU, which updates the internal service counter. Once the procedure is complete, disconnect the tool, turn off the ignition, and turn it back on to verify: the maintenance warning no longer appears, and the oil change reminder on the Fiat Panda is correctly reset in line with the service performed.
