How to Reset the Service Light on the Fiat 500 Hybrid

Resetting the service light on the Fiat 500 Hybrid requires a diagnostic tool. The EOBD socket is located under the dashboard, to the left of the steering wheel, behind a plastic cover. Connect the tester and turn on the ignition: the display will show "service overdue". The procedure is interesting: even though it is a recent hybrid model, you can use the profile of a Fiat 500 1.2 8V 69 HP (2005-2006). Select Fiat ? 500 ? 1.2 8V 69 HP. Enter the "Maintenance" menu and choose "Service Reset". Follow the on-screen instructions. Once the procedure is complete, the instrument cluster display will show "Service 15,000 km". The reset has been successful. The latest software version is not required: the basic profile works perfectly.

How to Open the Bonnet on the Lancia Y
