How to Disable Start & Stop on a Fiat Ducato 2021

The start & stop system on the Fiat Ducato 2021 can be temporarily disabled using the dedicated button, but it reactivates with each start. For a permanent disablement, there is a simple method: remove fuse number 33, which controls the battery voltage sensor for the start & stop system. Without this fuse, the control unit detects a "low battery charge" and automatically disables the start & stop without affecting other functions. The display will continue to show the battery charge level, as it is managed by a different fuse. Removing the fuse is quick and reversible. Before proceeding, consult the fuse diagram in the manual or on the cover of the fuse box. This method avoids the need to press the button each time and does not require any intervention in the control unit.
