Replacing the Timing Belt on a Fiat Punto

Replacing the timing belt on a Fiat Punto. Lift the car on a column lift or jack (if necessary, remove the front wheel, and use a screwdriver to remove the right wheel arch liner). Once these steps are completed, lift the engine bonnet, remove the engine soundproofing panel and the timing belt cover. Using a suitable spanner, loosen the tensioner pulley and slide the belt off its seat. Remove the water pump (as shown in the video). After fitting the new belt, use the spanner to tension the tensioner pulley until the correct tension of the belt (previously fitted) is achieved.
