Removing the Indicator Stalk on a 1970s Fiat 500

Model: Fiat 500 Epoca - Years 1957-1975

In this video tutorial, you will learn how to remove the indicator stalk from a classic Fiat 500 L from the 1970s. First, get inside the car and unscrew the central nut of the steering wheel using a socket wrench: then do not unscrew it completely and, giving slight backward taps, remove the steering wheel. Now remove the two caps from the dashboard and unscrew the nut so that the steering column drops slightly: then disconnect the cables and connectors (it is advisable to disconnect the battery terminals). At this point, you can pull out the steering column by pulling towards you and slide out the indicator stalk!

How to Check the Oil Level on a Jeep Renegade?
