Fiat 126 - Video tutorial

Model: Fiat 126 MK 1 - Years 1972-1991
Part: Timing belt
Operation: How to replace the timing belt on a Fiat 126

Before we can begin, we will have to open the rear engine hood of our Fiat 126, and then remove the rear cross member, in order to obtain the necessary space to work. So let's start by unscrewing the pulley that fixes the dynamo belt, and then removing the belt itself. Once this is done, we will have to go and disengage the remaining half of the pulley. By doing so, we will have reached the distribution chain. We then proceed by unscrewing and removing the bolts that secure the chain sprocket. When we have completed this step, we will be able to remove the chain and its crown, and we will have finished the disassembly. To assemble the new chain and close everything, we will simply have to repeat these instructions in reverse, and the replacement will be completed.

Where are the fuses of the Volvo FH located?

All the fuses of the Volvo FH are located inside the fuse box located in the vehicle cabin: in order to access the box it will be necessary to unhook the internal fixing clips that block the panel in the upper part of the dashboard, along its entire length. extension. Once this panel has been removed, it will be possible to access the fuses and replace them if necessary: here it will be possible to identify the fuses that take care of the operation of the windshield wipers, the cigarette lighter, the headlights, etc. In the vehicle manual each fuse is indicated with its amperage.
