Removing the Steering Wheel on a Fiat Panda

Model: Fiat Panda 169, MK 2 - Years 2003-2012

Disconnect the battery by simply removing the negative terminal. Ensure the car is on a level surface with the steering wheel straight. As shown in the video, undo the universal joint under the steering wheel. Inside this, there are three screws marked by holes in the plastic, which you will need to remove. Now the airbag support will come off; pry it off and disconnect the airbag and horn connectors. In the centre of the steering wheel, you will notice a rubber cap: remove it as it covers the 24 mm nut that secures the steering wheel (to assist, engage the steering lock). Nothing simpler!
