Removing and Replacing the Battery

The battery is located in the engine bay. First, loosen the nut on the negative terminal and remove it from the battery, then loosen the nut on the positive terminal and pull it away from the battery. Unscrew the nut located on the right side of the battery, removing the retaining plate at the bottom. Extract the battery from its housing using the designated handles. Install the new battery and secure it properly with the screw and corresponding plate. Clean the battery terminals with sandpaper or a cloth. Position the terminal on the positive post, pushing it down firmly and tighten the retaining nut, then perform the same operation with the negative terminal. Do not dispose of the used battery in the environment; take it to the appropriate collection centres.
