Check for Refrigeration System Leaks

To check the integrity of the refrigeration system (radiator and hoses), there is specific equipment available that allows you to pressurise the system and test for any leaks. It is recommended to perform this check with the engine cold. Remove the radiator cap and insert the one from the kit, which has a connector for the pump hose; then connect the hose and pump until the pressure gauge indicator reaches the limit of the green coloured sector: the increase in system pressure will cause water to leak from any cracks in the radiator.
