How to Replace the Steering Wheel on a Fiat 500

To replace the steering wheel on a Fiat 500, first open the bonnet to access the engine bay and disconnect the battery. Next, loosen the screws securing the plastic covers around the steering column and those located at the back of the steering wheel. Once these are removed, disconnect the front airbag by unplugging its connectors inside. At this point, loosen the nut securing the central steering wheel shaft and pull off the steering wheel. When the old steering wheel is removed, install the new one and refit all previously removed parts.
