How to Remove the Airbag and Steering Wheel from a Fiat Panda

Model: Fiat Panda 169, MK 2 - Years 2003-2012

Before starting, it is strongly recommended to disconnect the car battery to work safely. Around the steering wheel, there are three holes, each containing a screw. Begin by unscrewing and removing them. This will detach the airbag from the steering wheel; to remove it completely, simply disconnect the two connectors. Next, using a 24 mm socket spanner, unscrew and remove the nut that secures the steering wheel. Once unscrewed, taking care with the two internal connectors, remove the steering wheel from the steering column, successfully detaching it. To fit the new steering wheel and airbag, simply follow the steps in reverse.
