Armed with a good dose of manual skills, we can follow this tutorial step by step on how to replace the LEDs of the lighting plate of a painting. We operate on the dashboard, first lower the steering wheel in order to have more work space. Unscrew the screws of the plastic sun visor, unscrew those of the dashboard that secure it to the car, and extract the component, then disconnect it from the contacts. Detach the transparent plexiglass part with the help of simple plastic levers, unscrew the rear cover and remove the front one. Remove the hand caps, remove the hands by pulling lightly towards you. Lift off the white back plate. At this point we are holding the electronic plate, from which we remove the display hooked with the slats in the back (turn the slats to coincide with the slots and remove the display). Once we have located the LEDs we are interested in replacing, we intervene with tweezers and a soldering iron to remove the old ones and weld the new ones. Importantly, we can test the correct assembly of the LED to check if it works by reconnecting the plate to the circuit before reassembling everything. We just have to reassemble everything in reverse order. Attention!!! to the calibration of the hands as the video suggests. Good job.
