Performing regular maintenance on the air filter of your Fiat 500L is very important as it ensures greater engine durability and helps maintain performance over the long term. The entire operation takes just a few minutes and can be done by anyone without any issues. Before proceeding, ensure that the engine has cooled down sufficiently. First, lift the bonnet and locate the air filter box at the top of the engine. Unscrew the screws holding the cover in place using a 77mm spanner and remove it. At this point, simply replace the old filter with a new one. Finally, refit the cover and re-screw the screws.
