Replacing the Airbag on the Fiat 500

To remove the airbag, proceed as follows: access the cabin from the driver's side and sit down. To remove the central part of the steering wheel that contains the airbag and horn, unscrew the screw located at the back under the steering wheel. Once the screw is removed, you can extract the airbag unit along with the horn; behind the unit, there are three connectors that must be disconnected. At this point, take the new airbag unit, reconnect the rear electrical connectors, and re-screw the fixing screw.
