How to Remove the Steering Wheel on the Fiat 500

To remove the steering wheel from the vehicle, follow these steps: access the cabin and sit in the driver's seat, locate the screws securing the upper and lower plastic covers around the steering column. Then, take a small screwdriver and insert it behind the airbag, pushing outwards to release the three securing pins of the airbag. At this point, you can extract the airbag after disconnecting the rear connector. Next, disconnect the steering wheel controls connector, then use a socket wrench to loosen the central fixing nut, and the steering wheel can then be removed.
