How to Reset the Oil Service Light on a 2017 Fiat 500X

The procedure shown in the video and explained in this tutorial refers to a 500X with an automatic gearbox. For the manual version, refer to the owner's manual. Position the gear lever in "P" (Parking). Press the ignition button once to illuminate the dashboard without starting the engine. Now, press the accelerator pedal fully and slowly 3 times; this operation should take less than 10 seconds. At this point, you can turn off the ignition. If the message reappears when you turn it back on, you will need to repeat the procedure. In any case, it is advisable to check the owner's manual for any doubts.

How to Check the Oil Level on a Jeep Renegade?

To check the oil level on a Jeep Renegade, you need to open the bonnet to access the components inside the engine bay: on the lower left side of the engine block, you will find the dipstick for checking the level. This should be pulled out and thoroughly cleaned with a cloth: once cleaned, reinsert it back into its tube and pull it out immediately after. This way, you can check that the oil mark is between the minimum and maximum levels; finally, you can place the dipstick back in its tube.
