Let's see how to reset the service light (oil change): when the message 'oil change necessary' or 'oil change' appears on the display after performing the oil change, this message will appear every time you start the car, so in this procedure, we will see how to reset the warning light. After performing the oil change, to reset the message, proceed as follows: put the gear lever in Park (P), turn on the instrument panel without starting the engine, slowly press the accelerator pedal three times within 10 seconds, then turn off the instrument panel and turn the ignition back on. If after following this procedure the oil change message does not disappear, repeat the procedure.

How to Check the Oil Level on a Jeep Renegade?

To check the oil level on a Jeep Renegade, you need to open the bonnet to access the components inside the engine bay: on the lower left side of the engine block, you will find the dipstick for checking the level. This should be pulled out and thoroughly cleaned with a cloth: once cleaned, reinsert it back into its tube and pull it out immediately after. This way, you can check that the oil mark is between the minimum and maximum levels; finally, you can place the dipstick back in its tube.
