How to Change the Oil and Oil Filter on a Fiat 500?

Model: Fiat 500 312 - Years 2007-2022

On this vehicle model, the oil sump is hidden by the lower soundproofing panel. Therefore, before starting the replacement, lift the car on a ramp or axle stands, and then remove this cover. This will allow access to the oil sump. After placing a suitable container underneath to collect at least four litres of fluid, unscrew the drain plug to let the used oil flow out. While doing this, unscrew the filter, remove the cartridge and the old o-ring, clean with a suitable cleaner, and screw in the new filter. Now, close the drain plug of the oil sump, lower the vehicle, and add the new engine oil.
