How to Replace the Glow Plugs in a Fiat Panda 1.3 MultiJet

In this video tutorial, you will see how to replace the glow plugs in a Fiat Panda 1.3 MultiJet by following some simple steps: the operation is straightforward but delicate, as the glow plugs are very fine in proportion to their length and are connected to the part of the engine that heats up the most, making them subject to sudden temperature changes. Their extraction may be complicated; therefore, it is recommended to apply penetrating oil where the glow plugs screw into their seat days before, repeating this operation daily until just before removal. First, disconnect the negative battery cable and remove the engine cover with the air filter housing. Use an air compressor to clean the seat to prevent dirt from falling into the combustion chamber once the glow plugs are removed. Remove the connectors from each glow plug by pulling them upwards as they are press-fitted; then, using an 8mm spanner, carefully unscrew the glow plugs as they may break. Install the new glow plugs without over-tightening.
