How to Change the Gear Oil in a Fiat Panda 169

The video shows how to change the gear oil in a Fiat Panda 169. First, the tools needed are displayed: a 1.5-litre oil syringe, a 13mm hex socket, an 8mm hex socket to be used with a 3/8 ratchet, and finally, 75w-90 gear oil suitable for the Panda's transmission. The first step is to lift the car with a jack and place a safety block to stabilise it. Under the windscreen, you will find the first oil refill cap with a 12mm Allen key, while the oil drain cap is located further back, near the front driver's side wheel, and has an 8mm Allen key. Now, unscrew the 12mm Allen key cap, which is the filler cap, and let the oil drain out. After that, unscrew the drain cap, placing a container to catch the used oil. Once the old oil has drained, replace the cap and tighten it well. Now, fill the syringe with one litre of oil and insert the syringe tube into the oil refill hole for the gearbox. Finally, re-tighten the filler cap with the 12mm key.
