How to Replace the Timing Belt on a Fiat 500?

Model: Fiat 500 312 - Years 2007-2022
Part: Timing belt

To replace the timing belt on a Fiat 500, access the left side of the engine block: this will be covered by a protective panel, which can be removed by loosening the fixing screws. After removal, locate the underlying belt, which is positioned around the appropriate pulleys: by loosening the central nut of the tensioner pulley, you can reduce the tension and completely remove the old belt from its seat. The new belt can then be inserted, aligning the pulleys and ensuring everything functions correctly.
