To remove the airbag on the Panda 2nd series, start by removing the glove compartment: disconnect the negative pole of the battery (due to the airbag module), then externally on the compartment, at the bottom, we find the first 2 screws. Opening the compartment in the center, we find another screw, and on the left and right, the other two. On the left side of the compartment is the passenger side airbag connector. We must remove it by disconnecting it. At this point, the compartment comes off. Also, disconnect the positive battery cable. We unscrew the three screws that hold the airbag module in place with a 35mm ratchet wrench. At this point, we can remove the airbag, perhaps using a plastic spatula to help. We remove the connector on the right side. We remove it, and the module comes off. If the passenger airbag light remains on, it means it is not connected correctly.

How do you replace the battery of the BMW R 1250 GS?

In order to replace the battery of the BMW R 1250 GS it is necessary to loosen the bolts that secure the casing positioned on the left side of the bike, so that its cover can be removed. Once this has been removed, you will be able to access the components below, including the battery. The latter must be removed from its housing by disconnecting the power cables and unscrewing the appropriate fixing bolts. In this way it will be possible to insert a new battery, properly fixing it and connecting it to the relative cables, covering everything with the casing.
