How to Start the Fiat Ducato in an Emergency

In this video, you will learn how to start the Fiat Ducato in an emergency (as well as the Citroën Jumper and the Peugeot Boxer) if the immobiliser activates. Insert the ignition key and note that the engine warning light remains on. Attempt to start the engine, but it won't start. Always carry the card with the five-digit emergency code to deactivate the immobiliser. Remove the key from the ignition, then turn it back on. Press the accelerator pedal; the engine light goes off. Now enter the first digit of the code (for the YouTuber, it was the number 8) by pressing the accelerator pedal eight times. Press the brake, then the accelerator again (the next number is four, so press it four times) and continue until you have 'entered' the entire code. If the code is entered correctly, the engine light will flash rapidly, and you can start the engine. This is an emergency procedure.
