How to Perform an Oil Service on a Fiat Bravo Diesel

In this video, we demonstrate how to service a Fiat Bravo with a diesel engine. To perform this operation, lift the vehicle and remove the left front wheel and wheel arch liner, as well as part of the engine cover located underneath the vehicle. This will allow easy access to the sump drain plug and the filter. Drain the used oil into a container for proper disposal at an authorised centre, and do the same with the filter, replacing it with a new one. Apply clean oil to the new gasket before installing it, then refit the drain plug (it is advisable to use a new one), replace the wheel arch liner and engine cover, then reattach the wheel and lower the vehicle. Now it’s time to refill with approximately 4.8 litres of new oil, which you should measure again after running the engine for about a minute.
